The “start” and “run” capacitors store electrical energy to start the compressor and fan motor. When they fail, the compressor or fan will not start.

The outside condenser of a central AC can be loud. If your condenser is older, the best solution is a new unit. Newer designs are much quieter than those produced just a few years ago. If you have a newer condenser, the worst noise is probably coming from the compressor. This could possibly be solved with a compressor sound blanket. We can install this easily.
